The Big Kahuna Kup is this Saturday starting from Bermuda Beach on Galveston’s west end and finishing at Poretto Beach which is at 10th Street and the Seawall. This is the 3rd year of the Big Kuhuna Kup which usually attracts 30 or more of the most colorful catamarans you will ever see in one place. The race starts at Noon this Saturday June 29th and will finish by 2PM on Poretto Beach. Preferred viewing in air-conditioned comfort can be found at the RipTude Surf Bar across the street or down on the beach. Crewing with Capt Big Jim will be none other than Ben Roeder, Proprietor of the RipTide.
Capt Big n Ben vow to set a new “Most Hydrated” record at this year’s event. Stop in the RipTide and ask Jenn for the TEAM HULLFLYING special, a blend of tropical juices with active cooling ingredients sure to put a smile on your face.
