The Chilly Willy Putt Putt Tournament last Saturday at Gulf Range Miniature Golf Course was a huge success for the High Island Senior Class. They sponsored the event to raise funds for “Project Graduation”. Five 4-person teams participated under sunny skies and a cool breeze, playing 18 holes with each player’s score recorded. To fuel up, players were treated to a huge pot of homemade chili with all the fixins before the tee off. The total for all players was averaged to determine a winner. Students and parents were also selling tickets for a raffle prize and a 50-50 drawing. There were spectators of all ages, enjoying the event and cheering on the players. It was a lot of fun for all as they supported “Project Graduation”.
