The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) hospitalization numbers for Galveston County’s Trauma Service Area (TSA) have remained below the 15% threshold for at least 7 days. The COVID-19 restrictions required by the state’s Executive Order GA-32 have now been lifted. This means two things for Galveston County businesses. (1) Restaurants may increase indoor dining capacity from 50% to 75%; (2) Bars may reopen at 50% capacity.
