J.P.s and Constables from Galveston County will be hosting a fundraiser to help with legal fees to fight the Galveston County Commissioners Court’s decision on redistricting. They have voted to cut the number of precincts in half. This will adversely affect access to local elected officials. Gumbo will be sold for $7 a bowl, Sunday, December 1 beginning at 12 noon, Coconuts Restaurant, 1021 Hwy 87, Crystal Beach. An auction will follow with many great items!
