The 3rd Annual Pearl Beach Charity BBQ Cook Off took place on Saturday. A merry crowd of cookers, volunteers and party people joined in the celebration. As the skies cleared on Saturday morning, 27 teams fired up their grills and prepared some award winning ribs and brisket. Tables of prepared food served hungry visitors willing to give a donation, and lots of great prizes were raffled off.
Residents of Pearl Beach Subdivision, sponsors of this event, with representatives of the Lone Survivor Foundation. Over $11,000 was raised to benefit the Lone Survivor Crystal Beach Retreat Facility.
