The meat will soon be marinating and you’ll be able to smell the goodness from miles away. The big day is quickly approaching. The 3rd Annual Pearl Beach Charity BBQ Cookoff is Saturday, April 11th. This Pearl Beach Subdivision event brought more than 30 teams in the past year and there is always room to grow. All of the proceeds go to charity as the teams compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies and bragging rights, of course, for Brisket and Ribs. If you don’t want to compete this year, plan to come by and sample great BBQ with the “Donate and Get a Plate” deal. And the Event will continue the raffle tradition as well with a Mens’ Basket and Ladies’ Basket, among other items. Planning is underway, so mark your calendars.
