(Nov-28-2012) Not too hard for me to figure out what I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving! We’ve had our two youngest grandkids and their Mommy from North Carolina with us for over a week. And for the Thanksgiving weekend, our Son and Daughter-in-Law joined us. Lots of good food, football games, playing on the beach, finger paints on the concrete under the house, and chalk pictures on the driveway. We even managed to build sand castles on the beach Saturday morning before the front rolled in. We just finished putting up the tree, decorating it while the one-year-old was napping. Hey, maybe he won’t notice, he’ll just think it was always there … Wrong!
GO’s Sand Bucket is only one beach bum’s journal of life at the beach, probably something each of you can relate to. Please feel free to email me with your thoughts, visions and/or feelings of just exactly what the beach means to you.
