Friends of Galveston Island State Park present Beach and Bay – Come Out To Play Day on March 29 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, a day day of adventure and exploration for all. Day fees for the park are waived.
Planned activities include:
- Beach and Bay Explorations led by Galveston Bay Area Chapter Master Naturalists and FoGISP volunteers
- Interpretative nature walks
- Leave no trace camping exhibit
- Kayaking experience
- Learning how to cast a fishing line
- Guided bird watching
- Nature Learning Center
- Sea turtle obstacle course
- Craft activities
