Is there a new Beach Bar proposed for this residential neighborhood?
There is a sign on Kahla Drive at the beach requesting a permit to sell alcoholic beverages. According to Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission guidelines, a sign giving the public notice of intent to seek a license/permit must be posted at the location for 60 days prior to application.
I must agree with Flip Flop…South Padre and Destin have wonderful beach bars. To my knowledge these establishments did not deter from the beautiful beaches only added value and variety. If there were more business in Crystal Beach to gernerate more revenue for a tax base maybe our loveyl new tax rate would decrease….you think.
I Live in crystal beach. All the beaches that I have been to have beach bars there pretty cool they also bring alot of revenue and attraction to the city anyone who lives here full time should agree that crystal beach need more in the city I would like to see some hotels and more resurants.
As a homeowner, I hate the idea of alcohol being sold at the end of this street. This area of the beach has returned to more of a family-friendly atmosphere and this would return it the zoo of a few years past.
We are enjoying watching our beach grow in a positive way. This would only bring more trouble! Safety is very important, as many children play in yards on this street. As a home owner on this street, NO NO NO! Does anyone know of a petition or anything we can do to stop this!
Please post if you find one. I’d sign it.
NOT WANTED….NOT NEEDED….A BEACH BAR IN CRYSTAL BEACH…….WE NEED TO KEEP OUR BEAUTIFUL CRYSTAL BEACH SAFE AND FUN……
