The Annual Tri-City Corvette Club Run to the Beach was this past Saturday, October 5th, hosted by Lynn and Brad Metz of Crystal Beach. Some members of East Texas Corvette Club and a few members of the Baton Rouge Corvette Club caravanned in for the weekend to join in the fun. A total of 36 Corvettes rolled in, spit-shined and sparkling in the sunlight among the beach houses…an incredible sight! And the noteworthy 1967 Vette, royal blue – a beauty! And what goes better with shiny hunks of metal than some good eats? Eaton Meats from Nederland catered the event with brisket, chicken, ribs, boudin, and dirty rice. Coconuts joined in with bacon wrapped shrimp and crab stuffed jalapenos. Great day of food, fun, and Corvette fellowship. Cant wait till next year!
