A term too often taken for granted. You don’t need hoards of them. It only takes a few to make you feel really blessed. Your true friends never leave you alone. They’re constantly asking you to go places, taking you to breakfast, texting you during the day, and calling you if you don’t answer their texts. They understand when you need your alone time, but thank goodness they don’t let you be alone too long.
Family too! I’m looking forward to the next few days with family in town…dinners, games with grandkids, and hanging out before I head off to visit more family, cook Thanksgiving Dinner, bathe grandchildren, read them books at night before they go to bed. The youngest, a 9 month old, is just beginning to let go and actually stands without holding onto anything for 5 seconds. He just may take a step or two by the time I get there. 2013-11-19
GO’s Sand Bucket is only one beach bum’s journal of life at the beach, probably something each of you can relate to. Please feel free to email me with your thoughts, visions and/or feelings of just exactly what the beach means to you.
