I am in my last night in New Zealand, but what a trip it was! You will see the gallery but between an albatross-laden boat trip and a drive up the west NZ beach with strong west winds blowing pelagic birds onto the beach, it was a birding tour to remember. I would have given anything to have some of you with me! Just as soon as I am finished with the Great Plains Gallery (almost there!) the new gallery on the land here will be met with great zeal.
Those interested in the Arizona Trip mid-August ($1000) please think it over and give me a shout. It’s only six weeks off and I need to make hotel reservations, etc. Thanks!
A special shout to my dear friend Liz D who explored NZ and Australia with me a quarter-century ago! I do miss my Florida friends!
Enjoy the special “un-bird” gallery on the Mammals of our Great Plains. Too bad they don’t have feathers.
