Mike Comeaux’s course record 28 lasted only two days before being tied by Dennis Whitmer on Thursday. Whitmer started slowly then played the last seven holes in two under par to claim first place in the twice weekly Par 3 Tournament. Aaron Comeaux finished second at four over. Dabney Harrison and Mike Comeaux finished 5 over par. Local golf pro Mike Mitchell shot a second consecutive 10 over par 37. Mitchell’s once formidable golf game has fallen to new depths.
