I have received the petitions for the creation of the Emergency Services District here on the Bolivar Peninsula. Below is a list of those people and places that have a copy available for review and signatures.
If you have any questions, I, like most people will be travelling for the next couple of days for Christmas. I will try to watch my e-mail and answer questions when I can, but I will be in limited contact area.
Next week the 26th is the date to have the signatures to the county. The plan is to have the issue on the May Ballot.
All help is greatly appreciated, and I do apologize to everyone about the short notice on the signatures, we just were told the timeline on Tuesday. We will be starting meetings and Q& A sessions shortly after the new year to fully educate everyone on the election (if we get the signatures) and the effect it will have on the peninsula.
