Has Head Golf Pro Mike Mitchell found his golf game or like 75 degree January temperatures ,is it just a passing aberration. Mitchell tied for second place Tuesday in the Par 3 contest with Shannon O’Brien and golf newbie David Buchanan. It was Buchanan’s first payday and another sign his golf game is ready to take off. Mike VanZandt was the winner. Nice Playing guys. Alan Lind tied Mike Comeaux for 5th place by birdieing number nine. Aaron Comeaux and sweet Charlie Brannon finished back in the pack at 9 and 11 over par.
A couple of foursomes of local hackers are taking their clubs and hopefully golf skills to Chambers County today. Can a resurgent Mitchell keep it up? Will Whitmer win again on the road? Is Mike Comeaux over his slump? Can Shannon O’Brien win anywhere but the Ranch? Will VanZandt continue to dominate? I’ll let you know.
